Daydreaming at Van Cleef &amp,コーチ アウトレット; Arpels

We recently shot this Van Cleef & Arpels diamond ring for a fashion story. After sending out the fashion-credit research and having the opportunity to check out the behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot, I knew this was one ring that could only really be admired under those legendary lights that can give the tiniest of diamonds a vibrant sparkle and hypnotize just about any girl into believing the rock on her perfectly manicured appendage is flawless and scored superlatively on the 4C’s. 

Heading home after a lazy Sunday afternoon in Central Park, my boyfriend and I decided to make a pit stop at Van Cleef & Arpels on Fifth Ave. We strolled in and just for an instant, I thought I knew what Reese Witherspoon’s character in Sweet Home Alabama must have felt like when Patrick Dempsey said to her, “Pick one!” Then sadly it hits me; the “one” I came to admire through a spotless glass case has a cool price of $1 million plus! But before the zeros could scare me out of Van Cleef forever,プラダ バッグ, the sales associate asked if we’d like to see the ring. He slips on his black satiny glove and hands over the “one,” a 7.83 carat emerald-cut diamond ring set in platinum and diamonds that I have been lusting over for weeks! I’m holding it in my need-a-manicure-ASAP-fingers, when he says to me “Well, try it on.” And as I slip the ring on my finger,シャネル, my very own Cinderella moment finally happens; it's a perfect fit!!

My grandmother has always said, "The size of your diamond won’t guarantee a happy marriage.” And you know, she’s right, but for just a few minutes it was fun to imagine I was living in my very own romantic comedy! Thanks Van Cleef—you truly made my Sunday (not even those Magnolia cupcakes afterward stood a chance)!
